Let the Insanity Begin
It's hot.
(I know, Joansy, I don't know from hot. Humor me.)
We're broke.
Our living room is small and cramped. (Making that $500 video game system my husband had to have very difficult to play without "accidentally" smacking the shit out of your opponent or breaking something.)
Welcome to summer. Where, for the next 6 weeks, we will drive each other completely crazy because we're bored. It's too hot to go outside, and Ben's bike is jacked up, so outdoor activities are limited to swimming, which we can only really do on the weekends. We're too broke to do indoor activities, like movies or bowling or...whatever people do indoors. And the small rooms of our Depression-era rental house are even more cramped and small now that we know there's a bigger house with bigger rooms and dare I say it SPACE sitting out there with our names on it, and it's just a matter of time before we can claim it as our own.
Lord help us.

Don't forget about that indoor activity called packing. It's always a joy.
I am so damn ready for summer to be over. Enough already.
If you're willing to make the drive, you're more than welcome here. It's been in the 80's this week, but is supposed to get "hot" next week. If you consider 85 hot.
We feel your pain...sorta. We have central air, but being cooped up in the house all the damn time with a 4 year old and an incontinent dog blows.
