Happy Amateur Night
Good luck getting a cab. I'll be thinking of you as I sit in my warm cozy abode, drinking wine and eating hand-prepared appetizers courtesy of my Iron-Chef-wannabe husband.
I talked to Bob last night. He sounded happy to hear from me. He did tell me he couldn't tell me where he'd been because "it's a secret." He also asked if he could talk to Ben, but before I could hand off the phone, db said "nope, sorry, you can't do that," took the phone from him and hung up. When I called back, he said "you already talked to him" and hung up on me.
What a fucking douchebag.
Two more days...two more days...
I've been trying to keep busy so I don't sit around and think about it. To that end, today I did yoga in the morning, had Indian buffet lunch with Ben, did some work and some more work, went to the gym and power-walked for 50 minutes (while listening to Prince scream dirty things in my ears), came home and did some more work. I'm done working now. Time for wine.

Man Mitzi! What a douchebag! You should get yourself a dayplanner or even a calendar and document EVERYTHING. Judges love that. Every experience, every conversation with db, every single day. Here's to hoping the New Year is.....easier. Happy New Year!
thanks, lori. trust me, i'm keeping a very meticulous record. the problem is that db sits on the witness stand and denies everything. then his lawyer tells me i can't prove anything. justice, my ass. anyway--here's echoing your sentiments for an EASIER 2007!
Is there anyway you can record the telephone conversations you have with him? Maybe leave a dictaphone by the phone or something? Would be a great stunt to pull that one out of your bag in court!!!
